We are "#TooGoodForFilters"
My final project was inspired by what I was seeing plastered all over the press at the time of my research and preparation. Instagram is part of the holy trinity of social media, and I could see that after the huge scandal of Cambridge Analytica the reputation of Facebook companies´ had been deeply hurt with the UK public. In addition, I could see the influence that Instagram had on my own mental health and I wondered about the great effects that the brand could have if it changed the narrative to something more positive and inclusive. Lastly, when thinking about choosing this brand for my project, I found myself intimidated by the prospect of handling such a big company but ultimately that’s exactly what motivated me to throw myself into work and create the best campaign I could.

What I really loved about your project is your boldness to go after such a campaign. It would be great if someone from Instagram saw it and contacted you to actually implement it. Congratulations!
It is brilliant to see how your project that tackles the 'fake' culture and constant pressure on social media. The hashtag is excellent and says a loud 'No' to filtering how real people look and feel. A clear and compelling poster!
