NANA DEEN DACOSTA is an ambitious PR & Advertising soon to be graduate. Her background and the experience which she obtained thanks to the various tasks entrusted to her while studying at the University of Westminster, allowed her to bring to life the

#WEREPRESENTTOO campaign. By moving to London Nana was able to further experience

another culture. The goal of the campaign is to help educate people and fellow Italians

on cultural issues and that one's culture is more than what meets the eye. Nana always

felt like she was predisposed to communication studies and in the past three

years, she learned how fundamental Public Relations are in order to highlight modern

issues. She hopes to take her education further and is eager to have an exciting and

impactful career in the world of PR.

You tackle a big topic in Italy - and I like the way you emphasise the work of Italian actors of colour! The likes of Ghali and Mahmood have already established new trends in music - more representation is needed to show the richness and creativity of underrepresented talents and communities. Your campaign is paving the way!
